Mountain bikes have evolved so much in the last few years, making the sport more exciting than it has ever been. We understand all the options can be confusing though. How much travel do you need? What wheel size is best? What suspension design do you like the best? Sometimes a good test ride is all you need, so check out our options of demo bikes! After one ride on the all-new Stumpjumper FSR Expert Carbon 6Fattie, you’ll never be riding trail again. It’s a bold statement to make, but the increase in traction, control, and floatation that our 6Fattie Wheel System provides is nothing short of revolutionary. And then, of course, there’s the rest of the bike. It features our FACT 9m carbon fiber for the bulk of the construction in order to provide an ultra-lightweight, strong, and stiff frame. The carbon molding process also allowed us to revolutionize how you carry your trail essentials with the all-new SWAT Door found at the down tube. This compartment will fit a tube, a tool, and pump without rattling or compromising the structural integrity of the frame. And when you factor in a build spec that mixes some of SRAM and Shimano’s best performing, durable components, you have a bike that will have you never looking back—unless it’s to see your buddies eating your dust. “The 27.5-inch wheel platform was nearly perfected with Yeti’s trail bike, and the Switch Infinity suspension system redefined how good suspension can feel throughout its stroke both up and down the mountain. This year, Yeti has taken many of the features that make the SB5c great and has applied it to the 29-inch wheel platform. Yeti says its new SB4.5c is a 29er built for trail riding, enduro, and even cross-country.” The SB4.5c is a 29er with 4.5 inches (114mm) of rear wheel travel, designed to be used with a 130 to 140mm fork. It falls into the growing 29er short-travel trail category. Offered in four sizes (small to extra-large), Yeti describes SB4.5c’s geometry as “long top tube, slack head angle, and low bottom bracket”—the way Yeti bikes are traditionally built. Head angle is 67.9 degrees with a 130mm fork or 67.4 degrees with a 140mm fork; bottom bracket (BB) drop is 39mm, which puts BB height at about 13
