SB5c stands for Super Bike, 5-inches of travel, built from Carbon. As its name suggests, Yeti’s SB5c is a class-leading Trail bike. The magic of its incredible performance hides in the Switch Infinity link, which utilizes a translating pivot that switches direction as the bike moves through its travel, providing excellent pedaling performance and unbelievable support as it gets deeper into the travel. It's completely independent of pedaling forces and rider movements, so it works whether you're mashing the pedals or hard on the brakes. In simple terms, the SB5c absolutely crushes every single thing. With insane traction on the climbs, it's hard to imagine it gets even better when the trail points down. But it does. The SB5c’s geometry mirrors Yeti’s love of gravity-influenced riding with a long top tube, low bottom bracket, and slack head angle. Fox Racing manufactures the rugged hardware that makes up the Switch Infinity and Fox’s Float Factory DPS shock works perfectly with the system to deliver a heavenly ride. Up front, the Fox 34 Factory fork shreds the gnarliest descents with 150mm of travel, while out back, SRAM's efficient 1x X01 drivetrain delivers smooth, crisp shifting at the flick of a finger. Other frame details include a tapered head tube, chain and rock guard protectors, and a stiff 142 x 12mm rear thru-axle. Yeti's SB5c will put a smile on your face.
